Mick Hyam from Trinity City continues the series on "God, You and…".
Mick is the Youth minister and he joins us looking at God, you and faith –
why can’t we live without it.

Dave Brown, who is a staff worker at Adelaide University Christian group – ES will be helping us tackle the belief – Nihilism. Perhaps an unfamiliar word, however its ideas are all around us in daily life. Nihilism comes from the latin root meaning ‘nothing’. It labels all values as worthless, therefore, nothing can be known or communicated. Join us to hear more about Nihilism and what the Bible has to say about it.

Dave Brown continues our series on God, you and … Next we tackle not just the idea of ‘consumerism’ but the beliefs that drive it. More importantly, we’ll dig into the Bible to see if there’s a better way that brings wholeness, contentment and freedom from the merry go round of being enslaved to acquiring more.

As we finish off our God, you and … series the ‘education’ debate remains as ‘hot’ and contentious as ever. With increasing numbers of parents moving, mortgaging their houses or getting a second job to enable their children to get the best education they can give them, not to say increasing numbers of international students studying here, it begs the question – Is it worth it?
